Gulliver Travels To Cannes........

This is the first teaser poster of Jack Black's upcoming remake, "Gulliver's Travels".
The teaser poster was spotted at the Cannes Film Festival. It looks awesome. I know, it's only a poster, but anything really with Jack Black in it is awesome.
The good thing about this version of the tale is that it's set in the present day. I thought it would be set when the original film was set, back in like the 1800's or something.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie when it comes out. I'll probably go and see it with the family. We usually go and see something at Christmas time. And this looks like this will be the movie we'll go and see.
The film comes out on December 22nd 2010 and will star Jack Black, Billy Connolly, Catherine Tate, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt.

Time To Dream.......

In the teaser trailer of this weeks episode of Doctor Who. We were quickly introduced to the episodes key villain. He calls himself, The Dream Lord. Pretty cool name. But it turns out that Toby Jones is not the older version of The 11th Doctor, even though he has on his clothes. Feel find out why he's wearing them.
What I know of the plot so far is that he has split time into two. One is real and the other is not. One is where the episode is set in 2015, where Amy hasn't seen The Doctor in a whole five years. Rory has long hair and Amy has another thing going on, she's pregnant. Now people over the last few weeks have been saying that The Doctor is the father. I too was also wondering who the father was, but it's clear that it's Rory, seeing as Amy hasn't seen The Doctor in five years.

The other time is where The Doctor, Rory and Amy are continuing traveling through time on adventures. The Dream Lord (Toby Jones) somehow got into the TARDIS and, by the looks of it in the teaser, manages to shut it down completely and freezes it with the The Doc and his companions in it.
Now that's the most I know about the episode so far, so we'll all just have to see how it all pans. I think the episode looks amazing and I'm really looking forward to watching it.
The episode airs on Saturday night on BBC 1 at 6pm.

Fourth Universal Soldier Movie In 3D?

Well, seeing as 2009's "Universal Soldier 3: Regeneration" was a mini success when it went straight-to-dvd, the director (John Hyams) of the film is back with an idea for a fourth film. "Universal Soldier 4" is said to begin shooting in October and to be filmed in 3D.
The film is to reunite both Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren in their roles of Luc Deveraux and Andrew Scott. No one knows if MMA fighter and former UFC champion, Andrei Arlovski will return as NGU.

Super 8 Teaser Trailer..........

I just watched the leaked teaser trailer of the upcoming 2011 sci-fi movie from "Star Trek" director, JJ Abrams and director and producer, Steven Spielberg. The film is titled, "Super 8". No one knows if it's a prequel to the 2008 film, "Cloverfield". God, I hope not, because "Cloverfield" sucked ass. Hated the fact that it was filmed in cam-corder style. Think it would've been better just to film it with normal cameras.
So far, all we know about the plot is that the film takes place in 1979, when a cargo train is destroyed while carrying something from Area 51. When destroyed, the thing is released into the world. No one knows what the thing is......
Anyway, this teaser trailer for the new movie is kick-ass. Here's the link to the leaked teaser on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TilIi8qYSA0)

The Iron Man 2 Easter Eggs!

Now that the film is out, I can now discuss the 2 wee easter eggs that appeared in the film. If you're a die hard "Iron Man" fan, like me, then you would've went to see it on the first night or even in the first week. So if you haven't yet seen it........STOP READING NOW!
The first easter egg was Captain America's shield. It appeared when Tony was building the machine that would create the power for his new triangular reactor. The above pic was the only real good screen shot of the scene. Agent Coulson is asked by Tony to get something out of a box and he discovers the shield and questions Tony to why it was there. Tony takes it off him and uses it as, well, basically a balance. Priceless moment in the film! His shield also appeared in the first Iron Man film in 2008.
The second easter egg was after the end credits, where Agent Coulson is driving through the New Mexico desert to an area where a group of people are digging a massive hole. Coulson goes on the phone and speaks to the person on the other line. He says, "Sir, we've found it." And all we really get is a quick glimpse of Thor's hammer and then the scene cuts. Again, another cool scene.
Now, a lot of people thought that both Thor and Captain America were gonna appear in person, but I think it was better this way, don't you agree..........

New Judge Dredd Film In 3D?

So, the new "Judge Dredd" film is back on with some more new news to come along with it. According to the film's director, Pete Travis, the new film is to be in 3D. No surprise to that really, seeing as a lot of films are going 3D these days.
