V 2010 Reboot Is Awesome!

Now I never even knew about this "V" series when it was originally on back in like the 1980's. Didn't really care about it. But when a saw that is got a reboot, I thought that a would give it a shot and see what it's like, because the 2004 "Battlestar Galactica" reboot was awesome also, so what the hey. Although, the spin-off, "Caprica" isn't that great. Not as good as BSG. Well better. Anyway, "V" is absolutely excellent, and only after 2 episodes. I think it's kickass.
Now above is actress, Monrena Baccarin, who plays the sexy Anna, who is the aliens.....well basically she's their leader. Good choice....thumbs-up to that! Now, you know straight away from the first few seconds of the first episode, that these aliens don't come in peace, eventhough they say that they do.
Basically the plot so far is one day, giant spaceships all of a sudden appear in like 29 of our major cities. I we learn from Anna that they are aliens (obviously...DUH!) and that they've been traveling the universe looking for others (humans basically) and to live with them. They look like us and talk like us put are alien underneath. They act like they mean no harm, but c'mon....they so do. They also try to recruit us to be like their partners in a way. Work with them and shit. FBI agent, Erica Evans, played by actress Elizabeth Mitchell, realizes that they are here to take over the world and destroy us all and that they have spent decades infiltrating our goverments and buisnesses. They're nearly finished their work and are in the final stages to deploy the destruction of humanity.
Now I've credited it at "V: 2010" rather than "V:2009", because that's what it says on Syfy uk. The Us is nearly finished with the series, if not already. And the reviews so far have been good both in the US and the UK, although there is a rumor going around saying that the series is to be cancelled. Fucks knows why, because it's had good reviews from both sides.
So again, lets hope it's just another stupid rumor and let's hope that we get a series 2.

Bond's 23rd Adventure Has Been Put On Hold Indefinitely....Shit!

James Bond's 23rd adventure has been put on hold and no one knows when we will see it on the big screens. The next James Bond film, titled, "Bond 23" has been put on hold because of the trouble that MGM Studios is going through with finances. Shit! Doesn't sound very good. We may never even see a Bond film again, let alone see the 23rd.
The film was scheduled for a 2011/2012 release and was to be directed by British director, Sam Mendes. It looks like it could be much longer, depending on what will happen to MGM. The next time we see a Bond film, if we get to see another Bond film, could be round about 2013, possibly 2014. Now thats really pushing it for Bond actor, Daniel Craig, who turned 42 this year will possibly turning 44/45 years old before he puts that tuxedo back on. Possibly older than that. Daniel Craig is signed on upto a "Bond 24" film, but the way this crisis is going, I think he will drop out of the role and go for something else. And a really don't want that to happen, because he has got to be the best Bond, second being Pierce Brosnan and third being Roger Moore, fourth being Timothy Dalton and fifth being Sean Connery. MGM really need to make a sale for their studios soon or they're gonna shutdown for good. Meaning no more Bond, unless another studio buys it.
There was a rumor months ago saying that Lionsgate, who distibute the "SAW" films were ready to set a deal with MGM, but nothing came out of it. And no one really knows if it was true or false.

Behold! The Brand New 2010 Mini Cooper Of Daleks........

Last night was the return of The Doctor's old enemies who seem to never die. And we were introduced to the all new generation of Daleks. They look awesome. The designers wanted to back to the old 1960's Doctor Who film, "Doctor Who And The Daleks" with the design of the new Daleks. Good desicion I think. They look like Mini Coopers in Dalek forum. Stupid thing to say but c'mon......It's so true and you were thinking the exact same thing too.
In the episode last night, "Victory Of The Daleks" we saw how these new Daleks, known as the "Paragrim Daleks" were created. The name "Paragrim" means that they are pure Dalek.
They were created with a new machine called the "Progenitor", which contained original Dalek DNA. These new Daleks are well taller than the 2005 revival ones and any others for that matter.
The casing of each of the five Daleks seen is a different colour: red, orange, blue, white and yellow. Here is the list of the new Daleks and what they're known as:
1. White: Supreme.
2. Blue: Strategist.
3. Red: Drone.
4. Yellow: Eternal.
5. Orange: Scientist.
I totally love the way we were introduced to a new breed of Daleks. I really do love them, especially the blue one and the red one.

Become The Doctor.......

At the end of DW: Victory Of The Daleks, we got a climpse of the upcoming Doctor Who: The Adventure Games coming to the DW website. Awesome! Each game acts like an official episode only you're controling what happens by being The Doctor.
In the trailer for the games, we were shown The Doctor and Amy battling the new 2010 Daleks in a 1960' London. Obviously there will be others villains, but all we got shown was the Daleks. You basically get to save the world on you're computer. Both Matt Smith (11th Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) provided their voices for the games. The effects look amazing. The Doctor and Amy really do look like both the actors. Excellent.
The creators of the new series have moved forward with this series of downloadable games and have signed a contract with the guys who made the Wii to release a series of DW: Wii games. Not big on the Wii, so a won't buy it, but they did say that if it's successfull on the Wii, then there gonna plan to release games on other consoles like X-box and Playstation.
But for now, the games will be available for download on the DW website from June 5th 2010. I'm so downloading them.
Here's the link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD3gJPM0A3I

The Older Eleventh Doctor?

(BDWSA: Big Doctor Who Spoiler Alert) Now there are lots and lots of rumors traveling through cyber-space. One rumor that I came across was, well, very interesting. Really!
The rumor is that British actor, Toby Jones (shown above dressed in the 11th Doctor's uniform) is surpost to be playing an older version of our new 11th Doctor. Weird right?
The picture is taken from the trailer. Now I never even noticed him in the 11th's uniform. All I noticed was he was in the TARDIS.
Now, he's surpost to be the villain of the episode, which is episode 7 of the new series. The episode is titled, "Amy's Choice". He's surpost to be known as The Dream Lord. Cool name, maybe the episode is all a dream and this is The Doctor dreaming of himself in the 11th form, but older. Anyway, the episode is set 5 years in the future and The Doctor's new sexy companion is just about to give birth to her baby (dirty, dirty Doctor....tut-tut). The Doc's had a dip in the Pond. Hahahaha! I really crack myself up sometimes. Anyway, so Amy has a choice, stay with The Doctor when her baby is born...........or leave? We'll need to watch it and find out in like 4 weeks time.
So back to this mysterious new Older 11th Doctor. We did at the end of series 3, see Tennent's Doctor being transformed into an older version of himself by The Master. I'm kinda looking forward to see who this is, wether he is the older 11th Doctor or just happens to be wearing the same uniform as our 11th Doctor. Again, we'll just need to watch this episode in 4 weeks time to find out all.

The Doctor And Amy Will Return At Christmas & In 2011 For Series 6

Even before series 5 hit the tv, the BBC commissioned a christmas episode and even a sixth series for 2011. Sweeeeeet! Yes, The Doctor and his sexy companion, Amy Pond will return for a full series 6 in 2011.
The 2010 christmas episode is to be written by new head Doctor Who producer, Steven Moffat. Exec-Producer confirmed a series 6 in the Doctor Who magazine in the March 2010 edition. Filming for both the christmas episode and series 6 will start in July of this year.
There is no further news on who the villains will be (bet the Daleks will be back for it) or even any plot details. All we know is that author, Neil Gaiman has been signed to write an episode for the first half of series 6 in 2011.
I'll post more info on it as I get it comes in.

Will There Ever Be A Fourth Series Of Torchwood?

This is only every geeks mind, especially mine. The question is: Will There Ever Be A Torchwood: Series Four? I fucking hope so. Okay, the way that series 3: Children Of Earth finished, was amazing and it would be a fantastic ending to the Torchwood Universe all together, but it would be good if Russell T Davies decided to make a series 4.
Now, Children Of Earth (series 3) ended with the death of another Torchwood member, Ianto Jones. His death was so quick and so sad. It was painfull to see Jack hold Ianto in his arms for the last time and not even getting to say to him, "I love you". Sucked ass big time. Just like the way The Doctor never got to tell Rose that he loved her at the end of "Doctor Who: Series 2". Again, really sad times.
So now there are only two members of the Torchwood team alive, Captain Jack and Gwen Cooper. Now, I spoke to Kai Owen, who plays Gwen's husband, Rhys in the series. I managed to have a quick convo with him at Collectamania in Braehead last year. I asked him if there's any news on series 4 and said that I would love to see his character become an official member of the Torchwood team in series 4, if it ever happens, seeing as his character done so well in helping Jack and Gwen in Children Of Earth. He said that he would love his character to go that way to. Become one of the team, finally.
Russell T Davies did say that he is still waiting for the BBC to commission a fourth series. Now the BBC have said that they are still kinda wanting a fourth series, but still don't know. Davies did say that if series 4 is a good-to-go, then they think that series 4 will be another 5 part storyline like series 3 was. But actor John Barrowman has signed on for 13 episodes. So it sounds like the creators are going with a full 13 episode long series instead of a 5 part storyline series.
So only time will tell wether a series 4 will definetly happen or not. Here's hoping it does.
